A key facet of my role as Executive Editor of La DoubleJ has been elevating the brand’s voice across all communication touch-points. From newsletter development to campaign conception to social media expansion and press outreach, I have had the privilege of overseeing and refining the editorial identity of one of Milan’s fastest growing fashion and homeware houses.
COOK SPACE
As Creative Director of Cook Space, a culinary and events studio featured in the NYTimes within its first month of opening, I managed press outreach, wrote all weekly newsletters and social copy, coordinated all event production and developed relationships with local, female-founded organizations including The Class by Taryn Toomey, The Wing and Cherry Bombe.
SUNDAY SUPPERS
During the supper club boom of the 2010s, I had the privilege of working as the Brand and Studio Manager of Brooklyn photography and culinary studio, Sunday Suppers. Beyond managing all outreach, event production, and studio shoots, I assisted in researching and developing the product selection and packaging for the food line ILĀ, now Le Marké. Finally, I collaborated on the recipe testing, writing, shooting and promotion of the James Beard Award-nomiated, two-volume cookbook, Simple Fare.
THE REGULAR
A bi-coastal passion project between design and food obsessives who had never met, The Regular allowed readers to enter the kitchens - and thus, the hearts - of creatives such as Jenna Lyons, Matt Hranek, Waris Ahluwalia, Leandra Medine, Sydnee Washington and Daniel Breaker among others. I had the pleasure of interviewing and producing the photoshoots of the latter three, while helping the founder build the brand identity and community.
